midnight:inspiration

Several days ago, I heard my friend -EEUI2000 student- said that inspiration about  "final task"/(skripsi,thesis) occasionally appears in the middle of the night. He shared his experience, where at that time permission to stay over the night in the laboratories was still easy to get.Yeah, I stay at campus again tonight, but not in the laboratory (where?). Chatting with some my friends for a while, continued with troubleshoot the computer and small network testbed. I test its connectivity, ….. ping, ping6….. Alhamdulillah it works. Ouw, I have to execute another testing, again. So, I download an Apache HTTP Server release, and then install it.

Enter the midnight : after several times working on trial and error steps, I got a simple example how to execute the test. I tried it again, and,….. ugh, Alhamdulillah, it works.

So, what's next guys ? ……there are still many things ! one of them: UEFA Champions League ……. :P [switch to TV]

What should I use?

After some weeks ago I tried to setup bidirectional NAT-PT testbed (it's still so complicated for me), finally I decided to use uni-directional NAT-PT (Alhamdulillah, Mrs. Endang approve it).

Now, I have to find what parameters and tools should I use to test its performance, and then compare it with pure IPv6 and pure IPv4 network performance. Googling and reading again some references/papers in my folder, but I haven't decided what parameter and tools should I use (still confused ???) ….. I talk to Obe(EE99), and he said to me that I have to read more about IPv6, yeah, I have to read many more …… ugh….

any idea?

IPv6 DNS Server

I've tried to setup IPv6 DNS server for a week, but it hasn't run well ! InsyaAlloh, I'll try it again next. May I'll be able to set it up well. Amin.

So, I have to learn more !
